About us

The Grandview Station story has been a long and unusual one to say the least.  Start here for a quick bit of background and history on GvS by clicking on the button below
Quick Bio

 Who we are

Introduction and Forward

This story is unusual and may be a little hard to follow but hopefully with the bios and info provided it will not be too difficult. I've included as much detail and archives as I can gather to help with the understanding of it. Most of the pics provided are from my personal collection so I'm going to be the person seen most throughout them. I've reached out to former bandmates who might have more photos to offer, so hopefully more pictures will be added as they become available. To read the caption associated with each photo, hover over with the mouse and the text should appear prior to clicking (on full size version--tablet and phone versions may differ). I am not a website designer so my apologies for the unusual setups involved. A key example is: many of the buttons will take you to an outside PDF link. There should be nothing unsafe about clicking to the PDFs. I did it this way for a number of reasons, some being...(1.) I could do my pages on a notepad and link to it easier than than re-keying everything again (2.) They can be copied by the user (lyrics, etc.) and shared easily (3.) It was easier for me as a novice to set up the links that way.
Anyway, good luck and be sure to check out the CD and the offers provided for purchase. There will be an option for Email Signup (click at the top of any page, or "Our CD" on Home page) to get it at a reduced price, but it may be a limited run on that and good in the Continental U.S. only (due to shipping costs).
Thanks!
Scott Arivett
Dedication
On May 21, 2014 our longtime bass player and friend passed away at the too early age of 48. Too many great memories to recall. A few are recalled here thru photos and a few words now and then. RIP Joel Davidson. We love you and miss you every day.
